About the event

Discover the many interesting people associated with the town. Literary figures include Daniel Defoe who visited in the 1700s, and Denis Wheatley who lived here in the 1950s and wrote many of his supernatural stories while in residence. Hear about Lymington's connection with the man who took the "First Fleet" of convicts to colonise Australia.

Starts at the War Memorial by St. Thomas's church and finishes on the Quay, taking 90 minutes.

Join Lymington Town Tours for this special Play on Words edition of the Pens and Personalities Walk.

Please note that £5 in cash per person will be payable to your guide, Pauline, at the start of the walk.
