About the event
As part of The Nightjar Project exhibition from African Activities at Coda Gallery this October, award-winning writer and community artist Amy Hardingson invites young people to explore storytelling, poetry, collage and imagination through two interactive workshops.
Using games, discussion and hands-on creative activities, each child will leave with a finished piece of artwork or writing to take home that reflects both the places they live and the many cultures, memories and experiences that shape who they are.
Whether your child already loves writing and art or simply enjoys making and imagining, these workshops offer a welcoming space to build confidence, nurture creativity and celebrate the many ways we can belong.
Workshop 1: Visual Collage List Poems (Ages 5+, 45 minutes)
